Reviews and customer ratings

After an order, we may invite you to leave a review via Trusted Shops. For this purpose, your name, e-mail address, and order details may be processed. Trusted Shops processes this data according to its own privacy policy.

When consent is required for sending a review invitation, we will ask for it in advance.

Website analysis and advertisements

With your consent, we may use cookies and similar technologies to analyze the use of our website, measure conversions, and show relevant advertisements. This may involve the use of tools such as Shopify and Google Ads.

Which parties do we share personal data with?

We only share personal data with parties involved in the execution of our services. This may include:

  • Shopify: hosting and technical processing of our webshop

  • Mollie, Klarna, and other activated payment providers: processing of payments and payment checks

  • PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS, DPD, and Mondial Relay: delivery of orders

  • Visma: invoicing and financial administration

  • Trusted Shops: collecting and managing customer reviews

  • Bol.com, eBay, Kaufland, and other sales platforms: processing of orders placed via these platforms

  • Google: website analysis, conversion measurement, and advertising, if you have given your consent

  • IT, hosting, and Shopify app providers: technical support and execution of webshop functions

  • Accountant, bookkeeper, insurer, or legal advisor: when necessary for our business operations or a legal dispute

  • Government authorities: when we are legally obliged to provide data

Where necessary, we enter into agreements regarding security, confidentiality, and the permitted use of the data with parties that process personal data on our behalf.

Payment providers, sales platforms, and certain other service providers may be independently responsible for the processing in some respects. In that case, their own privacy policies apply.

  • Invoices and data that are part of our tax administration: 7 years

  • Data subject to a different legal tax retention period: as long as legally required

  • Correspondence with customer service: a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless the information is needed longer for warranty, a complaint, or a legal dispute

  • Data for returns, repairs, and warranty: as long as necessary for the processing and the applicable warranty or limitation period

  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent

  • Account information: as long as the account is active or until you request deletion, except for data we are legally required to keep

  • Cookie and analysis data: according to the terms stated in our cookie statement or cookie banner

After the retention period expires, we delete or anonymize the data.

Automated decision-making

AC PRODUCTS does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have significant consequences for you.

When you choose to pay later via Klarna, Klarna may independently perform an automated credit or fraud assessment. AC PRODUCTS has no influence on the outcome of this. You can find more information about this in Klarna's privacy policy.

Children's data

Our webshop and services are not specifically aimed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
