Returns and right of withdrawal

Not satisfied with your purchase? As a consumer, you can register your online order for return within 30 days of receipt without providing a reason.

After notifying us of your return, you have 14 days to actually send the product back.

We request that you return the product, if reasonably possible, in its original packaging and including all supplied accessories, manuals, and parts. The absence of the original packaging does not automatically mean that your return will be refused.

Assessing the product

You may assess the product as you would be allowed to do in a physical store. For example, you may unpack, inspect, and carefully switch on a 3D printer to check its main features.

Performing prints or intensive use, installation, or configuration of the printer may go beyond what is necessary to assess the product. Depending on the usage and its consequences, a depreciation in value may be charged. You still retain the right to return the product.

Return costs

The direct costs for returning an order are borne by the customer.

The return shipment remains at the customer's risk until we have received it. We therefore recommend that you pack the package well and send it with Track & Trace, and possibly insured for valuable products. Keep the proof of shipment until your return has been fully processed.

When an incorrect, damaged, or defective product is returned for which AC Products is legally responsible, the necessary return costs will be borne by AC Products. In that case, always contact us in advance for return instructions.

Refund

After a valid withdrawal, we will refund the purchase amount and, if the entire order is returned, the costs of the cheapest standard delivery offered.

The refund will take place no later than 14 days after receipt of your return notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or until you have demonstrated that the product has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

We will refund via the same payment method used for the original order, unless another payment method has been expressly agreed upon with you. No fees are charged for the refund.

Additional costs incurred because you chose a more expensive shipping method for the original order will not be refunded.

Depreciation

If a product has been used more than is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning, AC Products may deduct the demonstrable depreciation from the amount to be refunded.

Opening the packaging does not automatically lead to depreciation. Depreciation may occur, for example, when a product:

• has been visibly or intensively used;
• is returned damaged, soiled, or incomplete;
• shows signs of wear;
• is missing accessories, manuals, or parts;
• can no longer be sold as new due to use.

For filament, opening or removing the vacuum packaging does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal. If the filament has demonstrably decreased in value due to use, moisture absorption, soiling, damage, or incompleteness, this depreciation can be deducted.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made specifically according to your personal specifications, including personalized 3D print orders.

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for business orders. Cancellation or return of a business order is only possible after prior written consent from AC Products.
