Most food-contact filaments are only tested as a finished spool. Bambu Lab PLA Pure is tested ingredient by ingredient. From base material to pigment — just five ingredients, every one of them having passed European food safety certification. The first in its category. Still the only one.

UL GREENGUARD certified. Fresher air for indoor printing.

PLA Pure is UL GREENGUARD 2904 certified, the recognized standard for 3D printer emissions. The particles and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released are below the levels measured in most homes – cleaner than the air you are already breathing.

In a 4-hour continuous print test, conducted by an accredited international laboratory, PLA Pure produced lower PM2.5 and PM10 emissions than a third-party PLA under identical conditions.*
