The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is a fast, fully enclosed CoreXY 3D printer with the CANVAS system for multi-color printing. Print with up to four filament colors and switch between materials automatically. RFID recognition detects compatible filaments and assists in selecting appropriate print settings.

With a hotend up to 350 °C, a heated bed up to 110 °C, and smart ventilation, the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is suitable for a wide range of print projects. From colorful models to functional parts using technical filaments, this printer combines automated features with a flexible workflow.

Multi-color printing with CANVAS

The CANVAS system allows you to print models in up to four colors. The printer switches automatically between filaments and supports automatic filament recognition via RFID for compatible filaments. Automatic refilling also helps continue a print when a spool is running low, provided a suitable spare spool is available.

For color changes, you can have the spool volume calculated in Elegoo Slicer or OrcaSlicer after selecting the filament colors. With a larger color difference, such as from black to white, more spool material may be required than with colors that are close to each other.

Designed for a wide range of filaments

The hardened steel nozzle reaches temperatures of up to 350 °C. The hotend is designed for stable extrusion at high temperatures and print speeds. This allows you to print with materials including PLA, PETG, TPU, and carbon fiber filaments.

Suitable material types include:

• Standard filaments: PLA, High-Speed PLA, PETG, and TPU
• Technical filaments: ABS, ASA, PC, nylon (PA), and PET
• Carbon fiber composites: PLA-CF, PETG-CF, ABS-CF, ASA-CF, PA-CF, and PET-CF

The appropriate print settings vary per filament. Please follow the filament manufacturer's recommendations.

Smart print environment control

The enclosed printer chamber helps create a more stable environment around the print. The ventilation system adjusts airflow based on the material used. For materials like PLA, the vents can dissipate more heat; for materials that benefit from a warmer, more stable chamber, they can remain closed.

Automatic calibration and precise prints

The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo features automatic bed leveling with four sensors and 121 measuring points. Vibration compensation and automatic pressure advance assist with uniform extrusion, sharp details, and consistent layers. This allows you to spend less time on manual adjustments and start your print sooner.

Touchscreen operation

The 5-inch capacitive touchscreen features an intuitive interface with multi-language support. Use the screen to control the printer and monitor the progress of your print jobs.

High print speed and flexible connectivity

With a print speed of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s², the printer is designed to carry out print jobs quickly. The actual print speed and finish depend on the model, filament, and selected settings.

The printer supports connection via USB and Wi-Fi and works with popular slicers, including Elegoo Slicer and OrcaSlicer.

Camera and air filtration

The built-in 1080p camera supports monitoring prints and creating time-lapse videos. The filter system with a HEPA filter and activated carbon filter helps filter the air inside the printer.
